Crew Transfer Vehicle for Toxic Gas Zones

The Protected Transfer Vehicle (PTV) was developed for use in the Oil & Gas sector to safely move maintenance personnel and equipment around AGIP’s Kashagan Field offshore oil facility in Kazakhstan.

Building on SC Group’s experience in the development and supply of high-performance, all-terrain defense vehicles, SC Innovation was well placed to meet the high levels of compliance required for the vehicle as well as the rigorous operational requirements.

Our Solution

The PTV is based upon a 4×4 Mercedes Sprinter that has been adapted for safe use in exploration and extraction operations. The PTV is fully ATEX Zone 2 compliant thereby providing the user with the utmost confidence and the employer with the requisite regulatory compliance and on-site safety.

“Working together with the team gave us a chance to recognise their level of professionalism, efficiency to meet schedule and high manufacturing capability. We considered the overall result of our cooperation as very positive and are highly satisfied with the level of the quality of the work performed… I recommend them without hesitation”

Elisa Del Giamo, Material Project Manager, AGIP KCO
